TOM BARRY-COTTER
Tom made his Australian Offshore Superboat debut in 2006 at the age of eighteen winning his debut race in Newcastle. Since then Tom has partnered up with Pal Virik Nilsen whilst competing for the Spirit of Norway team in the 2007 Class One World Championship, continuing their partnership to win the 2007/2008 AUS 1 title. Tom has started 12 International Class One GP’s and has won 11 GP’s and 1 Australian Title from 20 starts, in the Australian Offshore Superboat Championship. In 2010 Tom is competing both locally and internationally for the Maritimo Team. Australian Class 1 Champion 2009 and 2010

PAL VIRIK-NILSEN
Pal Virik Nilsen from Norway started his powerboat racing career back in 1992. After that he has competed in almost all circuit and offshore classes in Europe. Pal have six medals in U.I.M world and European championship series, including a world champion circuit title in 1998. He has now over 150 races under his belt and the last 35 with Tom Barry-Cotter in Class-1. A pairing who started in the "Spirit of Norway" team in 2007. From there Pal and Tom have progressed and are shooting for their fouth Australian title together.
