Rayglass has won the NZ Superboat Lite championship every year since it was imported from the States (just in time for the start of the 2007 season).
The boat is set up with fresh 2.5 280hp Offshore Race Motors and is rigged with the best of every including a remote engine fire extinguisher system, rear view camera with LCD screen, dual channel Stilo intercom with integrated UHF ship to shore radio, etc. etc.. Like the newer Skaters, the transom is cutout enabling the engines to be bolted directly onto the transom. This setup provides for a perfectly balanced boat (it flies flat and level) and an impressive top speed of 110mph in race setup (obviously faster if you don’t need to go round corners!).
The boat is offered for sale with fresh motors (NZ$105,000) or without motors (NZ$80,000). Take advantage of the weak NZ dollar…..you won’t find a “turn key - ready to race” 28 Skater cheaper than this!
